Vee Dub Christmas Cruz 2026 – Saturday

The first of our two Vee Dub Christmas Cruz 2026 events is happening on Saturday 12th December.

What are the Vee Dub Christmas Cruz’s?

Started by Vee Dub Family back in 2017, our ethos is simple - bring as many festive VW's together as possible to spread lots of festive cheer through our local communities and raise money for The Grand Appeal, the official charity of the Bristol Children's Hospital! We work closely with both Avon and Somerset Police and North Somerset Highways to ensure everyone stays safe. If you would like to take part, just decorate your Dub – van or car, air or water cooled - with tinsel, lights, baubles, Christmas trees, Santa Claus, elves, stickers and anything else festive. Your imagination (and the laws of physics!) are the only limitations! As space is limited, only Dubs with registered tickets can join in and cruz tickets are non-refundable. We have a Just Giving page and Text to Donate number again this year, please share these around to family and friends and also when out and about.

Cruz Specifics - Saturday

• Max Vehicles: 150

• Start: Crown Glass Shopping Centre car park, Nailsea (BS48 2XX)

• Arrival Time: From 3:30pm

• Set Off: 5:00pm

• Mid-Cruz Regroup: Hither Green Industrial Estate, Clevedon (BS21 6XT)

• Arrive: Around 5:30pm

• Finish: The Lake Grounds, Portishead (BS20 7HX)

• Arrive: Around 6:15pm

Please stick to the route and maps we send in your info email so everything runs smoothly. The route is the same as previous years: Nailsea – Tickenham – Clevedon – Portishead. A live tracker will also be running on the lead vehicle, a link to this will be posted in the event before departure.

Make sure you give us the right vehicle reg when you sign up—parking at the start is free between 3:30 and 5:30pm for registered vehicles only. Turn up earlier and you’ll have to pay at the machines. Mess up your registration and you might get a penalty notice.

Please ensure that you have your ticket email with the QR code to hand to show our team once you have been parked up– either print it out or screenshot and save it on your phone.

Frontline Ops Group are generously donating their time and resources again and will be doing the traffic management for us at both the start and regroup points. Midlands Bike Marshals will also be in attendance for the fifth year running to escort and aid with traffic safety.

After we wrap up in Portishead, you can join our optional ‘After Cruz’ to the Bristol Children’s Hospital there we will do some drive-by’s for the children, their families and the staff followed by a run up Whiteladies Road and a photo stop on Clifton Downs. Remember, you’re responsible for any Clean Air Zone or bridge tolls. Add your free tickets below for this bit due to limited spots.

Event Packs

You’ll get your event info including the route maps by email in the weeks leading up to the event. We will then give you your stickers and have printed copies of the event info and maps available for those who would like them at the start point. Digital copies and videos will be up on the Facebook event page too. There will be important information in your info email – please ensure you read them carefully!
