WHO ARE WE?
Every December, Christmas Dubs group — a community of Volkswagen (VW) vehicle enthusiasts — decorates their vans, cars, and accessories with lights, tinsel, and festive motifs. We take to the streets in a “cruise” style, visiting Christmas light switch-ons, local displays, and public gatherings across Bristol and the surrounding region. Our mission is not just to spread Christmas cheer, but also to raise funds and awareness for a worthy cause.
The Grand Appeal
At the heart of Christmas Dubs is a powerful cause — raising money for The Grand Appeal, the official charity of Bristol Children’s Hospital. Through donations collected along our routes and at public displays, the team helps support the hospital’s life-changing work for young patients and their families. The Grand Appeal funds vital equipment, family accommodation, and specialist projects that bring comfort and care to children in hospital.
Our Community
Christmas Dubs isn’t just about the vehicles — it’s about the people behind them. From VW owners who spend weeks decorating their rides, to families who line the streets to wave and donate, the community spirit is what makes it all so special. Every honk, every cheer, and every smile reminds us why we do this — to bring people together, spread joy, and make a difference for Bristol Children’s Hospital.

Totally amazing guys! Steve is just fantastic! My son had years in hospital and the charity does help. I messsged Steve and he agreed to say hi to my son and had a chat totally amazing he loved seeing all 157 vans/cars and he was so excited to see Santa and the grinch
